About me
I am q0tzly. I study at Kushiro KOSEN while building websites and software systems.
I used to explore how computers work by creating my own programming language. More recently, I have become interested in designing websites, rebuilding existing ones, and using Cloudflare to create lightweight web experiences.
Things I have made
I co-founded Puridan, a project where people from different fields came together to build an original photo booth.
We created everything ourselves, from the physical enclosure to the software, and brought it to events around Kushiro. I was responsible for the system behind it.
I also created the grus.systems website as a way to turn my idea of doing web development professionally into something tangible. I designed and implemented the entire site myself.
I built q0tzly.dev by reusing the foundation I developed for grus.systems. I have written about the technology behind it and why I chose this approach on the blog.
Website development
I welcome enquiries about new websites and rebuilds for individuals and small businesses.
By starting with the foundation used for q0tzly.dev and grus.systems, then adapting it to each project, I can create fast, easy-to-use websites at an approachable cost and within a relatively short timeframe.
I can also build lightweight websites without relying on WordPress. This approach can keep ongoing costs low while still allowing text and photographs to be updated without touching the code.
Kushiro, photography, and sound
At fifteen, I left Honshu to attend Kushiro KOSEN.
Living in Kushiro has shaped more than my interest in technology. It has also made me pay closer attention to nature and the landscapes around me.
Photography is one of my hobbies. I recently started field recording as well, capturing not only how a place looks, but how it sounds.
One day, I hope to buy a Suzuki Jimny with the money I earn from web development, sleep in it deep in the mountains, and spend my time taking photographs and recording sounds.
